Events - What's On in Staffordshire

Follow the seasons through a calendar of colourful events, unique to Staffordshire.

Celebrate the rites of spring at well-dressing festivals, where flower petals and moss are crafted to decorate the village well.

Summer brings spectacular music, art and drama, the V Festival at Weston Park and top arts events at Lichfield Festival and Stafford Festival, where you can experience Shakespeare performed in the spectacular setting of Stafford Castle.

The Ceramics Festival of Stoke-on-Trent celebrates the heritage and craft of the pottery industry. Traditions rooted in ancient rural rites, like the unique Abbots Bromley Horn Dance originated in the great hunting forests here.

Celebrate Autumn with fireworks and food, enjoy the local harvest at markets in many towns and villages. Winter is lit by candlelight and open fires at Shugborough, where old recipes still provide the proof of the pudding.
